Hi everyone My name is Richard Benjamin and I am a PhD student in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Liverpool. I am currently carrying out research on black British heritage as part of my thesis which is titled, "Black identity and social inclusion through archaeology and heritage."
I have only recently come across this site and thought it would be a good way to try and get people to take part in my research. Basically, I will soon be sending out a questionnaire on various aspects of archaeology and heritage and what it means to members of the black British community. What do you understand black heritage to mean? What aspects of black heritage have you heard of? Do you have an interest in archaeology etc?
I am trying to send the questionnaire to as broad a cross section of the black british community as possible, adults, children, academics, students etc If you would be willing to fill out a questionnaire please email me. I can send questionnaires out by post or by email. Thanks for reading this and please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further details before you decide to get involved or not.
I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Richard Benjamin Email: benny71@liv.ac.uk
